At Dogwood Boots & Workwear, we are committed to shipping your order accurately, securely, and as quickly as possible. The following policy outlines our shipping procedures and customer responsibilities.

Order Processing

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

During periods of high order volume, promotional events, or severe weather, processing times may be extended. If a significant delay occurs, we will make every effort to notify you.

Shipping Carriers

Dogwood Boots & Workwear ships orders using trusted national carriers, including:

UPS
FedEx
United States Postal Service (USPS)

The shipping carrier used for your order is selected based on destination, package size, and shipping method.

Delivery

Estimated delivery dates provided during checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery timing is outside the control of Dogwood Boots & Workwear. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Weather conditions
Carrier delays
Natural disasters
Labor disruptions
Holidays
Other events beyond our reasonable control

Delivery Responsibility

Unless otherwise requested during checkout, your shipment may be delivered without a signature requirement.

By placing an order, you authorize the shipping carrier to leave your package at the delivery address if no one is available to receive it.

Carrier delivery confirmation, including GPS confirmation or photographic proof of delivery when available, constitutes proof that the shipment was delivered to the address provided during checkout.

Dogwood Boots & Workwear is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged after the shipping carrier has confirmed successful delivery.

If you believe a package has been lost or stolen after delivery, we encourage you to:

Check around your property and with household members.
Contact neighbors or your property manager.
Contact the shipping carrier to initiate a delivery investigation.
Notify Dogwood Boots & Workwear so we can assist where possible.

While we are happy to help facilitate communication with the carrier, final delivery determinations are made by the carrier.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Dogwood Boots & Workwear is not responsible for delivery delays, returned packages, or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

Address Changes

If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, address changes may not be possible.

If the shipping carrier allows an address correction or package intercept, any fees charged by the carrier may be the responsibility of the customer.

Undeliverable or Returned Shipments

Orders returned to Dogwood Boots & Workwear because of:

Incorrect or incomplete shipping information
Failure to claim the package
Refused delivery (unless previously authorized)
Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

may be subject to additional shipping charges or carrier fees.

A $25.00 processing fee may be deducted from any refund or charged before a shipment is re-sent to cover carrier charges and administrative processing.

Refunds or reshipments will be processed only after the returned package has been received and inspected by Dogwood Boots & Workwear.

Refused Deliveries

Customers who refuse delivery of an order without prior authorization from Dogwood Boots & Workwear may be subject to a $25.00 processing fee, which will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout based on:

Package weight and dimensions
Selected shipping method

Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped, except where required by law or when the return is the result of our error.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please notify the shipping carrier immediately and contact Dogwood Boots & Workwear within 5 business days of delivery.

If a package is lost in transit before delivery is confirmed, we will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and determine the appropriate resolution.

International Shipping

International shipping may not be available for all products.

Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, import fees, or brokerage charges imposed by their country.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If that's not the case, we are here to help!

New Footwear

New, unworn footwear may be returned or exchanged within 45 days of the original purchase date for a refund or exchange.

To qualify, footwear must:

Be in new, unworn condition
Be returned in the original manufacturer's box
Include all original packaging and accessories

Please try on footwear indoors on a clean, carpeted surface until you are certain of the fit.

Defective Footwear Warranty

Dogwood stands behind the products we sell.

If you believe your footwear has a manufacturing defect, bring it to the Dogwood Boots & Workwear location or contact our customer service team for evaluation.

After inspection, footwear determined to have a manufacturing defect will qualify for the following:

Within 6 Months of Purchase

Footwear showing normal use and determined to have a manufacturing defect may receive either:

A full refund, or
Full store credit toward a replacement pair.

6–12 Months After Purchase

If determined to have a manufacturing defect:

Footwear showing little wear may receive full store credit toward replacement.
Footwear showing normal wear may receive 50% store credit toward replacement.

All warranty determinations are made at the sole discretion of Dogwood Boots & Workwear.

Normal Wear Is Not Considered a Defect

The following conditions are considered normal wear or damage and are not covered under this policy:

Torn or cut leather from workplace hazards
Damage caused by chemicals, oils, gasoline, solvents, or excessive moisture
Excessive abrasion or worn linings
Damage caused by improper care or misuse
Normal outsole wear
Toe lining wear caused by toenails or friction
Damage resulting from the work environment

Waterproof membrane failures may require evaluation by the manufacturer in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty policy.

Apparel & Accessories

Apparel and accessories may be returned or exchanged within 45 days of purchase if it is:

Unworn
Unwashed
In new condition
Returned with all original tags attached

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned once purchased:

Socks
Insoles
Inserts
Boot care products
Other personal-use accessories

Return Shipping

For online purchases:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a verified product defect.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable.

Free Exchange Shipping

We want you to get the perfect fit!

All eligible footwear purchases qualify for our Free Exchange Shipping Program (footwear only; apparel & accessories excluded). If you need a different size or style, we'll provide one complimentary return shipping label per order for exchanges.

To qualify:

Footwear must be returned in new, unworn, and resalable condition in the original manufacturer's box.
The free return label is available only for exchanges, not standard returns.
All items included in the return shipment must be exchanged. If any item is returned for a refund instead of an exchange, $10.00 will be deducted from the refund.
Your exchange shipping label must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return shipping costs paid outside of the Dogwood Free Exchange Shipping Program are non-refundable.
Email your name, order number, product you would like to return and product you would like in exchange to info@dogwoodboots.com to initiate an exchange and receive a return shipping label.

This offer is valid for customers within the contiguous United States only.

Exchanges

If exchanging for a higher-priced item, the customer will be responsible for paying the price difference, applicable sales tax, and any additional shipping charges.

If exchanging for a lower-priced item, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method or issued as store credit, depending on the circumstances.

Additional Information

Returns are accepted only for products originally purchased from Dogwood Boots & Workwear.
Refused shipments will not be accepted as returns.
All returns must be sent to or processed through an authorized Dogwood Boots & Workwear location or returns center.
A proof of purchase or order confirmation is required for all returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
